Back-To-Business August 2025 Newsletter
Hi friends!
August has always felt like a reset button to me. Maybe it’s the “back-to-school” buzz still wired into my brain, but even as an adult, I feel this natural back-to-business energy when summer starts winding down.
That same energy is showing up here at Threadlined Presence! Projects are moving, momentum is building, and I’ve welcomed two new clients this month. Honestly? Business is picking up even faster than I expected when I opened my doors in July, which is both exciting and a little surreal.
Of course I still get those “what if it all falls apart” fears every once in a while (what business owner doesn’t?), but every new conversation, every client win, every note of encouragement keeps reinforcing: this is working.
To make it even easier for us to connect, I’ve also set up a brand-new booking link. No more back-and-forth emails! If you’ve been curious about working together, or just want to explore options, you can grab a spot on my calendar in just a few clicks.
While I’m channeling this season’s reset energy into my own growth, I want to help you channel it into yours too.
Back-to-Business Website Audit Checklist
With all this momentum, one thing I keep coming back to is how important it is that your digital presence reflects your real presence. You can have the best product or service in the world, but if your website looks outdated or your info is off, people might click away before they even get to know you.
In the spirit of getting Back-to-Business, I created a simple (and free) Website Audit Checklist anyone can use as a roadmap. It covers six key areas, from accuracy and speed to searchability.
My tip? Don’t try to do it all in one sitting. Pick one section each week, and you’ll see steady progress that adds up fast.

ICYMI: Should You Run Paid Ads?
If you’ve been hanging out online lately, you’ve probably seen a lot of conversations about paid advertising. Facebook ads, Instagram boosts, and Google campaigns… it can feel like everyone is telling you that ads are the only way to grow.
The thing is, ads can be powerful, but only if you’re ready for them.
In case you missed it, I wrote a full breakdown last month on when ads make sense, when they don’t, and how to decide if it’s the right time for you.
Behind The Scenes & What's Next
On the personal side, I’ve been putting finishing touches on my little home office studio. It started as just a desk in a corner, but now shelves are up, supplies are organized, and there are lots of little touches that make it cozy, inspiring, and me.
And now, with fall right around the corner (my favorite – hello spooky season! 👻🎃), I’m channeling some of that same energy into a different project: a spooky paint-by-number I’ve been chipping away at in my spare time. My goal is to have it finished and hanging on the wall in time to welcome the new season.
Whether it’s tightening up your website or finishing a spooky painting, progress happens piece by piece. Here’s to building steady momentum as we step into fall together!
More soon,
Bernice
